My name is Wesley Finnell, and I serve as the Development and Engagement Coordinator at Opportunity Resource Services (ORS). ORS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers to education and economic mobility for individuals and families across North Texas. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, we focus on serving first-generation college students, low-income individuals, and underrepresented communities. Through our TRIO programs, college readiness initiatives, career guidance, and community outreach, we help students and adults set goals, access resources, and achieve their dreams. From academic advising and financial aid assistance to skill-building workshops and mentorship, ORS provides the tools, encouragement, and pathways needed to turn aspirations into reality. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to open doors of opportunity and ensure that education is within reach for all.
